Karthika Masam is a sacred month in the Hindu lunar calendar, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu and is considered highly auspicious for spiritual practices. Traditions include daily lamp lighting, holy river baths, offering prayers, and practicing charity, which enhance devotion and purify the mind. Kanth Garu will perform special Abhishekams on Mondays and our regularly scheduled Abhishekam of Shirdi Sai Baba Utsava Murti on Thursdays.

Mondays: Oct 27 – Shiva Abhishekam and pooja with Tulasi leaves
Nov 3 – Shiva Abhishekam and Pooja with Bilva leaves
Nov 10 – Shiva Abhishekam and pooja with lemon leaves
Nov 17 – Shiva Abhishekam and pooja with Sesame Seed oil and special leaves / flowers
Thursdays: October 23, October 30, November 6, and November 13 – Abhishekam of Utsava Murti of Shirdi Sai Baba

Kanth Garu will perform a Rudra Homam, followed by Shiva Abhishekam, and Jyothir Lingarchana. Jyotir Lingarchana is a deeply symbolic and devotional ritual worshipping of Lord Shiva in his form as Jyotirlinga—the radiant pillar of divine light. Spiritual practices performed on the full moon amplify the benefits received.
