What to expect

Two mandirs, one sacred campus

Each sanctum has its own atmosphere. Many visitors spend time with both Devi and Baba in a single visit.

Sri Durga Devi Mandir

  • Quiet, meditative ambience for personal prayer and darshan.
  • Daily pujas, aratis, abhishekams, and seasonal festival decorations.
  • Devi is seated on her tiger vahana — a symbol of divine strength and protection.
  • Join the noon arati (12:00 PM) or evening arati (8:30 PM) during temple hours.

Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir

  • Life-size murti where Baba's loving gaze meets devotees directly.
  • Five aratis daily — Kakad, noon, Dhoop, Shej, and shared noon arati with Devi.
  • A serene space charged by annual Maha Yagnams and festival celebrations.
  • Many first-time visitors describe a deep sense of peace in this sanctum.

Before you enter

Dress & conduct

Simple guidelines shared by mandirs worldwide — to honour the sacred space and everyone who comes to pray.

  • Modest dress

Shoulders and knees covered when entering the mandir. Comfortable, respectful clothing is appreciated — there is no formal dress code beyond modesty.

  • Remove shoes

Shoes are left at the entrance before entering temple spaces. Socks are fine in cooler weather.

  • Quiet & respectful

Speak softly in the sanctum. Phones on silent. During arati and meditation, please remain seated or standing quietly.

  • Photography

Personal photos may be welcome in some areas; during certain ceremonies photography may be restricted — follow posted guidance or ask a volunteer.

  • Offerings

Flowers, fruit, or prasadam ingredients are welcome if you wish to bring them. Nothing is required for darshan.

  • All are welcome

SRIM welcomes seekers of every background and faith. No prior knowledge of Hindu worship is needed — come with an open heart.
